肋骨骨折状態で事故ってゴルフ
先日、またゴルフへ。今回のコースは前に習ったレッスンプロ曰く、北海道でも5本の指に入る難しいコース。S氏と行ってきました。
実は、私の肋骨は折れていることが濃厚でして、ここのところ痛みで全然練習ができませんでした。「骨折濃厚」というのは、肋軟骨というのはレントゲンに写らないため、「そんなに痛いんなら折れてるんじゃないかな」みたいな診断だからです。
折れていようがいまいが、呼吸をするだけで常に動く肋骨を固定することはできないので、特段の治療方法が無く、ただ、湿布でも貼って治るのをを待つしかない、とのこと。起きている時はあまり痛みを感じませんが、咳やくしゃみ、後は横に寝た時に激痛が走ります。
それでも、完治まで何ヶ月も待っていたら、短い夏は終わってしまうし、とりあえず少し良くなった感もあるので、またゴルフを強行したのでした。
練習不足のため、コースに出る前に現地で少し打っておこうと早めに自宅を出たのですが、なんと、自宅から10分ほど走ったところで車との接触事故ですわ。ぶつけられました。とても不思議な事故でした。
私は片道3車線の真ん中の車線を直進。交差点で対向の右折車両がのっそりと出てきます。信号はもちろん青。私の前の車はクラクションを鳴らしながら、その車を避けて通過。相手の右折車は停まるでも無く、急ぐでもなく、ゆっくりと私の前へ。そのまま行けばぶつかるしかないので急ブレーキを踏み、ハンドルを左に切って避けつつ、ぶつからずになんとか交差点内で停車しました。そう完全に停車したのです。事故に成らなかった。
窓から相手を見て、「危ないよー！」くらい言っとくかと思ったその矢先。つまり避けて完全停車してから数秒後、なんと相手の車は停車した私の車に、ゆっくりとぶつけてきたではありませんか！私の右後タイヤのホイール、その上のフェンダーあたりにごっつんと。意味がわかりません。この時点でも信号はまだ青なので、後ろからどんどん車が来ます。それらをやり過ごしてから、相手を路肩に誘導して、事故処理開始…。
その後交番に行ったわけですが、相手は動転しているようで、自分の勤務先に何度ダイヤルしても繋がらない…。警察官にダイヤルしてもらって、やっと繋がる。私が渡した名刺は、一瞬で無くして、2枚目を渡す…。私に間違って昔の勤務先の名刺を渡す…。やれやれですわ。あまりにもぶつかり方がおかしいので、相当体調が悪かったとか、そういうことなのかも知れません。普通に運転できないような。
おかげで、こちらはスタート時刻には間に合ったものの、練習時間など無くいきなりスタート。
スコアは前半ハーフが63…。出だしのホールで、いきなり12も叩く。これは事故で練習ができなかったせいだと言いたい。後半ハーフは調子が出てきてなんと48。実力以上のスコア。パーが2回、ボギーが4回、ダボが2回。最終ホールで力んで＋4も叩きましたが…。
都合、トータルで111は、前回より10以上縮めることができました。前半がもう少しマシだったら…。
肋骨骨折で事故ってゴルフ。そんなことしてたら、急激に仕事が忙しくなってきました。去年の10月が最も忙しい月でしたが、この7月はそれを超える。果たして無事に全て捌けるのか。ゴルフや釣りやキャンプやさくらんぼ狩りに行けるのか。大変ありがたいことですが、どうして、こうやって固まるんだろう。暇な時だってあるのに。
